An important aspect of ISO 15118 is a supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) for managing certificates. This workshop will explain how a PKI works and how it fits into the EV charging ecosystem. You will see different demonstrations of PKI services. We will discuss what would be a practical and open way to design the PKI for the future that will be widely accepted by the industry.
The workshop will be held on Friday November 16 from 9.00 to 12.00 hours and is part of the Global EV Charging Test.

Smart Charging Showcase
From 12.00 to 13.00 hours there is The Smart Charging Showcase. This showcase will demonstrate how pricing information of an EMSP, charging needs from the EV, grid restrictions from the DSO and charging limits from the CSO are all combined to result in an optimal charging schedule to meet everybody’s wishes. The Showcase will be held at the same location as the PKI workshop.
