Short impression of EVS30

ElaadNL is present at the thirtieth edition of the Electric Vehicle Symposium & Exhibition (EVS30) in Stuttgart Germany. We are having a great time; meeting interesting people, learning more and more about smart charging solutions and sharing our knowledge. Here is an impression of our activities on the first two days of the symposium.

Cybersecurity
During each afternoon there are Dialogue Sessions in Main Hall 1. ElaadNL has several information posters and our researchers and experts share their information and test results on a variety of subjects regarding electric vehicles and smart charging. They give poster presentations on the need for cybersecurity within the EV infrastructure, wireless charging, and testing and certification of EV’s and charging infra.

Transparant Charging Station
Just two weeks ago ElaadNL presented the Transparant Charging Station at the Smart City conference in Eindhoven. We are very proud of this new concept and it is also a very popular subject on the floor of EVS30. The Transparant Charging Station gives insight into the distrubution of energy: which car will be charged faster (and why). Transparancy is one of the main issues regarding smart charging in the future

Smart Charging morning session
During the morning session at the Holland Lounge on Tuesday, Elaad, together with Anne-Marie Spiering of the province of Brabant shared their views on the future of EV and that of smart charging in particular. A very well attended meeting with curious and interested visitors. We are glad to see so much attention for this subject and we are looking forward to connect with all the passionate people we have met.
